Steve Hagy is one of the finest fire equipment photographers that I have had the pleasure of knowing, he works tirelessly to take pictures of present day fire equipment. But his passion is the antique fire rigs. Steve was the one who led me to one of the finest Fire Department Forums that I have ever had the pleasure of being a member of.

I was extreamly excited that Steve agreed to let me feature some of his works and some of his collection on this website and in my forums. All pictures are from Steve's collection and are ones that he owns, has taken the picture, or are ones that he has found in one way or another. I use these pictures with his full permission.

Some of the Modern Day Rigs

Rigs of Days Gone By

No matter how rare the picture chances are Steve has seen, can find it, or knows who might have a copy of it. That is the case with some of the pictures below, and I know of such picture that he posted in a thread that I have going on Youngstown Fire Forums. Whether the picture is on Ebay or in a book, rest assured that if Steve post's it with information about the picture you can take it to the bank. Like Steve I love the older stuff and would love to have his resources for finding pictures of some of the rigs of days gone by.

Some of these pictures below are from Ebay, some are from manufacture collections, and some of them are from other sources. So please enjoy these pictures. If you are a collection of Fire Department items and would like one of these pictures for your collection please email the webmaster for information.
