Photo Page

The pictures featured on this page come from several sources, some are pictures that are part of the history of the City of Scottsbluff Fire Department, some are from the time that I spent with the department, and some are from the Scottsbluff Star-Herald.

To start off lets go with a few pictures that appeared in the Scottsbluff Star-Herald while I was a member of the Scottsbluff Fire Department. These three were taken by the Star-Herald at emergency calls. One is shows me working a grass fire at the Riverside Zoo, two are from the Super 8 Incident, and one is from a auto accident on 27th Street by the Scottsbluff High School.

Please be sure to check out the  Photo's and Video's Page 2. Right now all it has are just some Video's that I have taken and that I have put together.

The next few were taken during training exercises and I thought that I would share them with everybody. There is one that shows all of the Volunteer's in 2002.

The next few appeared in the Scottsbluff Star Herald and show the City of Scottsbluff Fire Department in action. Some of them are newspaper articles and some of them are pictures that i was able to get from their website.

The first two are from a Structure Fire in March of 2005 and show the crew of Engine 1 pulling a attack line getting ready to make entry into the structure. The second of the two shows one member of the department pulling debris from the fire outside of the house.

Next Up are some of the larger fires that occurred in Scottsbluff. All of these are before my time with the Department. First up is the ABC Nursery Fire, then is the Yellow Front Fire, the Western Valley Processing fire, the Ledbetter's Paper Company Fire, and then the Morrill Apartments Fire, and the last two are from one of the many times the department responded on Mutual Aid for fires at Jirdon Agri Chemicals (the first of the two is a cut away of the Snorkel Basket putting water on the fire and second is of Truck 1 in operations at the fire.  The pictures that are shown below are some of the ones that are hanging on the walls of the  City of Scottsbluff Fire Department's training facility, and some of them are hanging on the walls of the Fire Headquarters building.

Sometimes out in Western Nebraska the weather can get a little rough like it did in April of 2005. The pictures below are of a storm front that moved through that spawned a minor tornado. The Tornado stayed outside of Scottsbluff but was enough to cause some tense moments.
