Hello And Welcome To Nozzleman Fire Pictures.

Hello and welcome to Nozzleman Fire Pictures. Nozzleman Fire Pictures started in June of 2006 as a way that I could still be around and participate in my first love which is Firefighting. I spent a number of years as a Volunteer Firefighter with three different Departments. And like a lot of men and women who get into firefighting my love for it continued the entire time. Now that I am no longer physically able to fight fires my love for the Fire Service has grown even more.

I was first exposed to the Fire Service in the late 1960's and early 1970's while my father was a Volunteer Firefighter with the Gardenville Volunteer Fire Protection District during those years. Like a lot of children of parents who were firefighters I loved it. I loved being around the rigs, the men, and most of all I loved the excitement of the Trucks with their flashing lights, sirens, and air horns.

Sadly thought about three years ago I had to retire due to health issues, but my love for it has just gotten stronger. In June of 2006 I started taking pictures as much as I could of the Lincoln Fire And Rescue Department with my cell phone camera. Then I started with a regular digital camera. My goal has been to get pictures of all of the Department's equipment and to learn as much about the Lincoln Fire and Rescue Department as I could. I am happy to say that I believe that I am 75% of the way done with getting all of the rigs photographed and I will never know all their is to know about the Lincoln Fire and Rescue Department.

There are many pages to this site so please take your time and check everything out. Some of the information comes from the different Department's Website, some comes from talking with the Firefighters, and some comes from reading everything that I can on the different departments. Some of it also comes from first hand knowledge. I will be constently updating this site so please check back offten.
